Join Ida B. Wells, as portrayed by certified national storyteller Karen E. Griffin, as she shares her experiences as an Afro-American female teacher, journalist, crusader, investor, and suffragist fighting for women’s rights and social justice. This performance complements Griffin’s exhibition, “Ida’s Journey in America,” on display in The Story Center at the Woodneath Library Center from December 6, 2024, through March 3, 2025, and viewable during regular opening hours.
