Ida y Vuelta is Spanish for “round trip” which is what songs are called in flamenco that were taken from abroad and woven into the art form born in the south of Spain. Through music, song, and dance, we will introduce flamenco history and its relationship to “borrowed” melodies from Cuba and Mexico.
