Marketing for Businesses and Organizations

March 16, 2022

“How can I reach more people with my business or organization?”

As someone who aids in community engagement and outreach on behalf of the Library, I find myself hearing the same things from multiple organizations and customers: “How can I get the word out about the services of my organization?”

This will always be an unending question and ongoing endeavor, but did you know that the Library can assist you? Check out LinkedIn Learning for Library (formerly Lynda.com) for up-to-date, self-paced business classes and videos, including more than 17,000 marketing training courses. Whether it be finding demographics, dealing with copyright law, social media marketing, or creating your own form of outreach that works best for you, this is by far, one of the best tools that the Library offers for entrepreneurs. Many of the LinkedIn Learning courses take less than 30 minutes to complete!

To use LinkedIn Learning for Library, simply put in your Library card and pin number, type “marketing” into the search box, and you are off on your adventure.

If you need personalized help, reach out to the Library’s Square One Small Business Services team! Their team of small business specialists can assist you in using this resource as well as the Library’s many other resources and services for entrepreneurs. They can also schedule a one-on-one meeting with you to help answer other questions you might have about social media marketing, technology tools like Canva, and general communications questions.

Let the Library help you so that your business or organization can reach more people!
