Looking for a space to hold a meeting or event? The Mid-Continent Public Library (MCPL) offers reservable community and meeting rooms, as well as special event spaces, at many of our branches. These rooms are perfect for meetings, study groups, or community gatherings.
What We Offer:
- Community Rooms: These larger rooms are ideal for meetings and events. They may have fees associated with them, depending on the size and duration of your reservation.
- Meeting Rooms: These smaller rooms are perfect for study groups or small gatherings. They are free to use for up to two hours per day.
- Special Event Spaces: Mid-Continent Public Library is home to two unique event spaces: The Conference Center at the Midwest Genealogy Center in Independence, MO, and the Auditorium at Woodneath Library Center in Liberty/Kansas City, MO.
Who Can Use Our Rooms?
Our community rooms are available for use by individuals and groups composed primarily of residents within our library district. These spaces are not intended for commercial purposes or personal events (birthday parties, weddings, etc.).
