MCPL wants to collaborate! The Library offers Educator Support to area educators working in public, private, and home schools. You can connect with experts at your local branch who can help plan field trips to the Library, classroom visits from branch staff, or presentations of our electronic resources.
Maybe your class needs materials for a particular project or subject, or perhaps your students would benefit from book recommendations. You can begin a conversation with Library experts by using these forms to request services or materials. Of course, if it’s more convenient, you can always visit a branch to discuss your classroom needs in person.
For material requests, educators will need to supply a Library account number in order for Library staff to place holds on the desired items. Educators may use authorized School Use Cards, Student Account Pass for Faculty (if their district participates in this program), or their own personal account. Get a Library card
After submitting an Educator Support request for materials or services, you will receive a confirmation email notification. Staff from your local branch will contact you within five days of your submission by your preferred method.
Please place material requests at least two weeks prior to the date you would like to receive items.
