Created by visual artist and oral storyteller Karen E. Griffin, the textiles in this exhibit represent the career of Ida B. Wells as a groundbreaking Afro-American teacher, journalist, investor, crusader, and suffragist, placing her life and work within the history of enslavement, migration, and civil rights. The exhibit will be on display in The Story Center at the Woodneath Library Center from December 6, 2024, through March 3, 2025, and viewable during regular opening hours.
