Donations to MGC Archives
MGC accepts donations of original records such as diaries, correspondence, scrapbooks, organizational records, and photographs. Donations are accepted based on condition, research potential, and historical significance at the discretion of the MGC archivist. Potential donors are requested to make an appointment with the archivist to discuss a possible donation to the archives. You may call (816)252-7228 or email mgc@mymcpl.org to set up an appointment with our archivist.
Finding Aids and Indexes
Researchers accessing materials from the archives must read and accept the Rare Books and Archives Materials Use Policies (PDF, 43KB). Finding aids and/or indexes are available for processed collections to provide such as a biographical or administrative history, collection summary, and inventory.
