In this three-part workshop, award-winning author and editor Natalie C. Parker will teach young creators how to create dynamic, original stories from the ground up.
Part 1: Ideation to Creation
Participants will learn the basics of how to identify the story potential of each idea. We will focus on strategies for expanding or contracting ideas as well as methods for finding the most dynamic ways to tell a story.
Please note that this series of workshops is intended for teen writers, not adult writers of teen or young adult literature. Registration is required and space is limited. Registrants will be enrolled in and expected to attend all three parts. Please note this program will take place both in person in the Story Center historic home and virtually via Zoom.
